In May we had the privilege of welcoming, for the second time in just over a year, our dear friend Dörte de Jesus, founder of The Lissome magazine, a visit that was made possible with the support of the P2P programme of the European Creative Hubs network, of which our organisations are members.
We recorded and filmed this session for an episode of the Ossos do Ofício podcast (to be published by the end of the first season), but already available on our Youtube channel.
Saber Fazer in The Lissome Magazine
Our friend Dörte de Jesus, editor-in-chief of the wonderful The Lissome, spent a few days in Porto earlier this year and interviewed Alice for the latest edition of the Magazine.

ECHN P2P Programme with the Textile Prototyping Lab (Berlin)
We had the pleasure of hosting our first ECHN P2P Programme in April.
This P2P was an initiative of our friends at the Textile Prototyping Lab from Germany. We met Karina Wirth at last year's ECHN conference in Vienna and decided to explore joint opportunities, share experiences, and get to know each other's hubs and communities. The ECHN P2P is the perfect tool for these interchanges, and we will explore future opportunities within the programme.

Earlier this year, Alice and Miguel had the pleasure of being at the Fundação GDA podcast "Isto não é mais um podcast" to talk about our experience of EU funding for art, culture and creativity.
In this episode, they explain how we use EU funding to combine the production and publishing of technical content that is commercially viable but is of significant importance to our audience and to society with the research of innovative learning methodologies.
Creative Hubs Meetup at Saber Fazer (26 April)
Barbot Bernardo and the Textile Prototyping Lab (Berlin, Germany) are organising a meeting of Creative Hubs on 26 April (16:00-19:00) at Saber Fazer in Porto.
This meeting will take place as part of a working week shared by our two hubs as part of a peer-to-peer exchange organised by the ECHN - European Creative Hubs Network, of which we are both members.

Saber Fazer / Ofício has been an associate member of the ECHN - European Creative Hubs Network since the beginning of the year!
The positioning of Saber Fazer as an aggregator and facilitator in the universe of artisanal work and small-scale industrial production and its relevant role as a training entity, combined with the experience of Ofício in supporting entrepreneurs and businesses in the creative industries, has led us to participate in different projects and networks that go beyond our national borders.
Bombarda Podcast
After difficult times during the pandemic, Bombarda, Porto's Art District community, came together again to favour different projects, fostering innovation and networking in a frankly and continually creative territory.
BOMBARDA is a podcast dedicated to everyday topics in the Miguel Bombarda neighbourhood in Porto. Made by and for residents of this territory - whether residents or entrepreneurs - this space exists to record and amplify reflections and discussions around the local development of the well-known "Art District" in Porto, whether these are cultural issues, social, environmental, urbanistic or economic.

I was very excited about spending that morning with our dear friends and clients (we still owe you a post about our extensive work there). We recorded the first episode of their new Indiworkers podcast, and I had the honour of being the first to be interviewed.
From co-work to creative hub: How we rebranded CRU
Cru was founded in 2012. The original logo was used for almost one decade until the founders asked us to help rebrand this iconic space in the heart of Porto's art district. By then, we had just finished a strategy project that repositioned Cru from a Cowork to a Creative Hub, something we will tell later in a different post.
