From Soil to Story - full roundtable now on Youtube (and photo gallery)

In May we had the privilege of welcoming, for the second time in just over a year, our dear friend Dörte de Jesus, founder of The Lissome magazine, a visit that was made possible with the support of the P2P programme of the European Creative Hubs network, of which our organisations are members.

Over the course of a week, we visited some colleagues from the ECHN network in the city, hosted meetings and gatherings, and Dörte also took the opportunity to catch up with old and new friends.

Towards the end of the week, we organised at Saber Fazer the round-table discussion ‘From Soil to Story’, featuring Dörte, Paula Nabais from the ERC Scarlet Project, and Margarida and Pedro from the publishing house Vai Vem.

We recorded and filmed this session for an episode of the Ossos do Ofício podcast (to be published by the end of the first season), but already available on our Youtube channel.

You can read Dörte’s recount of this visit to Porto in a wonderful post in her Substack Lissome Letter:

Move Slow and Build Things - Learnings from Porto: How collaborative ecosystems, independent storytelling and slow businesses can support one another
