4 years of collaboration with VIC NIC: supporting a “house-project” with many layers and an intense cultural agenda.
Over the past few years we have found ourselves returning regularly to the world of VIC NIC and Aveiro Arts House. Starting with communication strategy and consultancy work back in 2023, the collaboration gradually expanded into identities, publications, events and ongoing communication support across an ever growing list of projects. Somewhere between BREAK, AMP, newsletters, releases and more than a few visits to Aveiro, a lot has happened over the years.

We are supporting our friends at VIC NIC / Navalha with the promotion of the Portuguese chapter of the Adventurous Music Plateaux (AMP), a LIVEMX project by the Plateau Foundation (Poland).
Hosted at the iconic and much loved VIC Aveiro Arts House, a place steeped in stories and history, the event is a two-day celebration of collaboration, experimentation, and live creation.
AMP LIVEMX is part of a wider European network of events exploring the intersections of music, technology, and community.
In the Studio: Back at Aveiro’s Secret Cinema
We first met the musician and producer Hugo Branco (AKA Fulano47), the mastermind behind this incredible project, a couple of years ago, when he commissioned us with the task of designing a communication strategy for all the facets of this project honouring the Branco family legacy and build a strong visual identity for their Break in Case of Emergency project (which you can see in this post).

How we made the BREAK IN CASE OF EMERGENCY identity
Hugo Branco from Vic - Aveiro Arts House and Navalha, Associação Cultural, challenged us to design the identity of Break In Case of Emergency 2023, a kind of festival dedicated to sharing practical knowledge on themes and trends that affect the music industry.
"BREAK IN CASE OF EMERGENCY is a two-week hybrid boot camp for independent musicians and labels, focused on exchanging practical skills concerning some of the most pressing aspects of today's independent music industry.”
