VIC Aveiro hosts the AMP Festival in August 2025

We are supporting our friends at VIC NIC / Navalha with the promotion of the Portuguese chapter of the Adventurous Music Plateaux (AMP), a LIVEMX project by the Plateau Foundation (Poland).

From Poland to Portugal, from the new European jazz to the depths of electronic sounds, from the spirit of improvisation to the edge latest technology — this August, artists from both countries converge in Aveiro for AMP LIVEMX, a unique meeting of minds and sounds.

Hosted at the iconic and much loved VIC Aveiro Arts House, a place steeped in stories and history, the event is a two-day celebration of collaboration, experimentation, and live creation.

AMP LIVEMX is part of a wider European network of events exploring the intersections of music, technology, and community.

The programme blends artist talks, workshops, and live concerts, all designed to bring audiences closer to the creative process: artists will meet, exchange ideas, and push each other's boundaries. On the first day, there will be hands-on workshops, a Q&A session and tons of conversation. On the second and final day, the invited artists will take the stage together in spontaneous performances.

For our crew at Barbot Bernardo and Estúdio Ofício, this project is more than just another event on the cultural calendar. We've been working alongside the VIC NIC team for years, and we share their passion for connecting people through art, music and creativity. This time, we're proud to be part of the event by handling the local communication of AMP LIVEMX, bringing the message and energy of the festival to Portuguese and worldwide audiences.
